Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

What is PTA?

The Parent Teacher Association’s goal is to bring together students, teachers and parents to form a closer bond and have fun together! Research has shown that students with involved parents have greater success in school, both academically and behaviorally.

What does the PTA do?

The LaSalle PTA plans fun events for students and raises money for the schools. Some PTA events are Fall Fun Fair, movie and bingo nights, market day, fundraisers, Holiday Shop and Wreath Sale and 2 book fairs per year. Funds raised are used toward, but not limited to, school assemblies, field trip expenses, ISAT snacks, PBIS incentives, and bowling.

Who can join PTA?

You can! Everyone is invited and encouraged to join our PTA – parents, grandparents, guardians and teachers. It is an excellent way to meet new people!

How much time is required?

We understand that everyone has a busy schedule! You can spend as much or as little time as you choose helping out. It is said that many hands make light work!
